Sometimes a hike that seems easy on paper proves to be more challenging than I could ever imagine. This was one of them. It’s amazing how many emotions can be felt and expressed throughout trying times… and how, even though I know I’ve grown, I realize just how much growing I’ve still got to do.

But one thing is for sure. I will always take the time when it’s over to take in the view, feel the sun on my face, and be grateful. May I be blessed enough to continue striving to do these things all the time and in each moment… not just when I’ve crested the mountain.
